I'm Ellen Peeples, a portrait photographer located in Anna, TX. I'm just a gal trying to make a living while pursuing her dream. I am a mother of one sweet baby girl who keeps me on my toes. Photography is more than just a business to me; it is my passion. I hope you can feel the love that I put into each of these images as you browse through my site. And as you look through all of these smiling faces here on my blog, I hope maybe I can make you smile a little, too.

Class of 2015: Celia [Anna, TX Senior Portrait Photographer]

I just love how these photos turned out. Celia is such a natural beauty and photographing her was effortless. These were taken in downtown McKinney (which is quickly becoming one of my fave places to shoot), and we found all kinds of neat stuff, like graffitied alleys, colored doors, flowers…the possibilities were endless. We decided to have this session early in the morning to try and escape the heat and the harsh sun, and I think we got exactly what we were looking for. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek Celia!

Class of 2015: Lisa [Anna, TX Senior Portrait Photographer]

This lovely lady’s shoot was more fresh than a head of iceberg lettuce…haha! Ok, so corny, I know, but seriously, I love her spunk, her drive, her personality. I enjoyed this session so much, and had a blast seeing the sights in Deep Ellum. There was originality and artistic talent at every turn, on every wall, and in every nook and cranny. So, pretty much, my paradise. 🙂 And Lisa? Well, she was even more lovely and extraordinary than her surroundings– which is pretty amazing if you think about it. I’ve had the pleasure of being this young lady’s English teacher for the past year and have gotten to know her pretty well. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most driven teens I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She’s going places y’all. Lisa, I hope you LOVE your pics. But most of all, I hope they give everyone a little peek into the beauty that is so obviously YOU.

Class of 2015: Rosa [Anna, TX Senior Portrait Photography]

Oh, how happy I was today when I saw the rain finally letting up, because that meant this session was going to happen. We’ve been planning this one for a while, and I was so bummed when I saw the yucky weather forecast for today. But, we do live in Texas after all, and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that Texas weather can change in the blink of an eye. And that’s exactly what it did– for the better. So, this gorgeous gal and I got to spend the afternoon strolling around downtown McKinney, seeing the sights, giggling, and taking a few pictures. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Thursday afternoon.

*Rosa, thanks for not making fun of me and all the dorky things I say and do while taking pictures. Ha! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
