I am so lucky to have gotten to know these two beautiful people this year at my new job. Both of them have made me feel so welcome and right at home during times when I felt like a little fish who jumped out of her bowl and into the deep sea. Christina is a girl after my own heart: quirky, artsy, amazingly talented…everything I hope and aspire to be. Not only that, but she is one of the kindest, funniest people I’ve met in a long, long while. I knew when I first met her that we needed to be friends..and FAST. Ha! So here we are, one year later and I am so blessed to have been a part of this whole day. During a teacher in-service earlier this summer, Matt began to excitedly tell me his plans of marrying Christina and how excited he was to pop the question. His love and dedication to her was evident and his excitement was through the roof. There was only one problem: he wasn’t sure how he wanted to do it. He just knew he wanted it to be perfect…and AWESOME. So, during those few days of motivational teaching tecniques and planning how to structure our classrooms for maximum learning potential, we started planning something else: THE proposal. Since Christina is an art teacher it only made sense that it had to be something colorful, something artsy, something HER. And this is what we decided. A boy and a girl, a canvas, some bright colored paint, and a REALLY good time. I am so pleased with how the pictures came out, and beyond pumped that I was there to witness this special moment for them so I can now share it with you. Congratulations Matt & Christina! You are both such beautiful spirits, and together, well, y’all are going to just be double the awesome. I can’t wait to see where life takes you together. But for now, enjoy these pictures, and enjoy your ENGAGEMENT! Love y’all!
